My Bio
Hey, y'all! Amanda, here, with some information about myself, for anyone curious.
*I live in a lovely part of the US called the Missouri Ozarks. I'm not a big traveler, but out of all the places I've been, I have yet to find anywhere that I find more beautiful than the area I call home. Perhaps I'm just biased? ;)
*One of my favorite hobbies is photography. I've been seeing the world through a camera lens since I got my first flash bar camera as a young child. Photography is in my blood--my granddad was a hobbyist photographer as well, and bestowed his talents on his many children and grandchildren.
*My favorite things to photograph are different viewpoints of common sights, and things people tend to miss when they don't look--such as wildflowers, 'weeds,' and other easily missed wonders. Everything has its own unique beauty, from the showiest orchid to the lowliest clover, and I love being able to reveal that beauty to others.
*I have a caffeine problem--and intermittent insomnia--and when these two problems work together, I tend to ramble without realizing it; I apologize in advance. Just thought I'd warn y'all.
*I'm a born-again optimist. I used to be a pessimistic cynical skeptic, but have found that life's so much more enjoyable when you focus on the good parts instead of the bad. Life isn't perfect for anyone--Lord knows it's rough at times--but as long as I keep my head up high and have faith that things will get better, they do get better.
Anything else you wanna know, just ask. :) Keep in mind, please, I have a very wonky sense of humor--if something I say offends you, please understand that nine times out'a ten, it was NOT meant offensively, and I apologize in advance. Let me know what happened, and I'll gladly iron it out with you.
